Meet the Founder

Founder & Executive Director, Queen Centers for Hope.

“I founded Queen Centers for Hope in 2013 with a clear purpose: to ensure that every young person—regardless of their background—feels seen, heard, and supported. The organization was born out of a deep recognition that too many youth navigating trauma, poverty, and social isolation are failed by systems meant to protect them. These failures don’t just represent gaps in services—they represent lost potential, unheard voices, and diminished hope.

Queen Centers for Hope exists to change that. Rooted at the intersection of mental health and public health, we champion a model of care that prioritizes compassion, dignity, and youth leadership. We work to amplify the voices of adolescents, equip communities to respond with empathy, and expand access to healing-centered services.

This work is deeply personal. It reflects my lived experiences, academic background, and unwavering belief in the power of community to drive change. At Queen Centers for Hope, we’re not just building programs—we’re building a movement for equity, healing, and youth-driven transformation.

To every young person: your story matters. You matter. And we are here—walking beside you every step of the way.”
