Medical Supplies

The Need

There continues to be a healthcare crisis in Zimbabwe and the impoverished citizens are in dire need of healthcare services.

In public hospitals, doctors are working in arduous conditions, forcing some to operate with their bare hands, at worst, and nonsterile gloves, at best, when essential supplies run out.

Doctors are providing lists of supplies for patients to buy in advance, from face masks to anesthesia, and for the poorest patients, they are using their own money to purchase needed items.

What We Are Doing

We have managed to secure a number of medical supplies from well wishers in the United States. On November 14, 2019, a group of volunteers loaded about 900+ boxes worth of medical supplies at Mission Regan in McKinney, Texas headed to Zimbabwe. Our goal is to ship a 53 ft container by the end of November 2019.

The donated medical supplies will be going to G & N Mission Hospital in Rutenga & Mount Saint Mary’s Mission Hospital in Hwedza. Through their efforts, we intent to provide ongoing quarterly One Day Clinics at their hospitals.

A team of medical professionals working with Queen Centers For Hope out of Dallas, Texas will also travel to Zimbabwe in June 2020, for One Day Clinics to help provide free healthcare services to the impoverished citizens in Rutenga and Hwedza.
